Towan Recycled Marine Plastic Sunglasses by Waterhaul
The Buy Me Once Verdict
A clean, rectangular all-rounder made from plastic recovered from the British coastline. Towan is light enough to forget you're wearing it, easy to wear with everything, and tough enough for beach days, road trips and the bottom of a rucksack.

Waterhaul is a Certified B Corp based in Newquay, Cornwall, turning plastic recovered from the UK coastline into eyewear tough enough to be guaranteed for life. Every batch of their Traceable Marine Plastic comes with a QR code, so you can see exactly where the plastic in your frames was pulled out of the environment. They've recycled more than 110 tonnes of marine plastic so far (October 2026), and if you ever do manage to break a pair, they'll repair or replace it for free.
